I'm looking for a set of iron gates for the driveway and I need help. I have narrowed down the search to these two. What do you think? Which is your favorite? Of course they will come in my favorite color, Black. The first gate is 14'wide and nine feet tall in the center.
The second gate is 14' wide x 10'2 inches tall.
I'm leaning toward the last gate but do you think it's too formal and ornate. It will hang from a set of rock and brick columns. I would really like your opinion. I will place my order this weekend. What do you think????

I don't know, I like the second one a lot but you're right it does look formal. OOh, what kind of house are you going to build? If it's going to be more fancy go with the second, if it's more country go with the first.
