Playing in the Sprinklers

This weekend we decided to test out our lawn sprinkler system. We weren't sure where all the underground heads were and it was kinda hot and the girls had some friends over to play, so why not. I remember as a kid loving the sprinkler and begging to get in it often.



Each part of the yard is set to a zone system and when we hit the buttons in the garage, the girls would rush to find the sprinklers.

Lauren wanted the full effect of the water. Haha This was her 2nd change of clothes.

I have to say, I think the kids had a blast it. Now to convince them it's for the grass.

Random Weekend

This week Lauren had 4 games in 5 days and I'm a little behind on my blogging. The mornings are beautiful in our backyard and I thought I would share this picture. It's amazing how fast the leaves came out on the trees.

Birthdays

I'm definitely older....but still waiting on the wiser part.

Our Weekend

We had two games on Saturday and both were at 10:00. I decided to go with Lauren and Jeremy went to Anna's game. Ty, Dana and Hadley came to visit this weekend too. Lauren had her own cheering section and we were trying to turn Hadley into a ballpark kid. Ha It was so nice to have Dana there because she takes awesome pictures and she took all the pictures for Lauren's game. Lauren getting ready to bat. Lauren ready to claim her ball. She is so cute running to base. All smiles as she gets a run for the team. She is such a great little ball player. She scored 3 runs for the team this game.

They won 18-14 and Hadley was getting in on the action huddle. During the game, I kept texting Jeremy the score. I really hated missing Anna's game. They won 14-2 and Jeremy took this picture of the girls under the scoreboard. After we went to the house we cooked out. Jeremy is the best cook ever and we grilled steaks. I'm getting spoiled with grilling every weekend.

On Sunday we decided to go to the mountains. Chehea is the highest point in Alabama and it was a beautiful day for a drive.

So nice to be in the picture. Ha I need to take Dana along more often.

I hope they come back soon. We had a blast. It's always great to play with your cousins and I think Hadley was a little OK with hanging out with me this time.

Team Pictures

This last week has been a whirlwind. I have been fighting bronchitis and ended up at the doctor.( I guess the garage won) We had a game Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and two Saturday along with practices every night . I took the girls team pictures this weekend also. I think they turned out cute. I just wish they were a little larger on the blog.

I'm loving this weather and starting on a tan(at least my freckles are getting darker haha).
