Snow 2011

Our first night in the house it started snowing. The girls were so excited especially when school was cancelled for the whole week.

We used the 4-wheeler to pull the boogie boards.

We threw snowballs.

We Moved!

We have moved in and I have no clue how we have accumulated so much stuff in 1 year. I have packed boxes( I use this term loosely). Mostly, I have tossed things into a box and wished for the best. I had to include this picture because I always laugh when I see someone's mattress going down the road. And yes, ours were flapping in the wind. Ha Watch out....here we come. Mattress, recliner and all.

House Tour

Kristin is welcoming you to our new home. Please ignore the "No Trespassing" sign hanging on the front door. Unless, you are the crazy woman that keeps letting herself into the house. If you are, the sign is for you. Ha. Really, there is a lady that is borderline obsessed with our house. She showed up at the house 30 minutes after we bought it and tried to buy it from us.

This is the living room. It is next to the kitchen. The bank of doors in the back of the picture lead to the back patio.
To the right of the living room is the Kitchen.

This is where Kristin hangs out. She loves climbing on the outside of the staircase. This picture is still in the living room looking toward the music room(Yellow room). The front door is to the right of the music room. This is the music room looking into the dining room. This is the dining room looking into the music room. I am turning the music room into my Photography Studio. I love all the natural light it has.
This is the master bathroom.
It has a unique walk in shower that is located behind the mirror wall.
This is a shower that leads to the Hot tub. It is located across from the laundry room. You walk into the bathroom and into the shower and thru the door to the back patio. This will be super cool when the kids are wet from the hot tub or pool they just walk straight into the shower and then into the bathroom.
The bottom of the shower is river rock.
This is the view off the back patio.

There is a huge rock in the backyard. It's into the woods a little.

This is looking off the rock straight down. This picture DOES NOT come close to showing exactly how far down the drop is. People in the neighborhood have rappelled this rock.
Standing on the rock there are 2 creeks on either side and they join and go down the hill. This in one of the creeks. There are several waterfalls on the rocks.
This is the corner of the house and if you look past the magnolia trees into the woods you can see orange cones. Those orange cones are the driveway to our land. All the trees in the picture are ours. Although the house is in a subdivision, it's the last house and we own all the land to the right, left and behind the house. The subdivision is in front of the house. (Hope this makes sense.)

More pictures to come......
