The Ballpark

Friday, We ate lunch with Jeremy and went to Target. Kristin loves Icee's and is always willing to go shopping.

We picked up the girls from school and headed to the ballpark. This is our hangout.

The girl's BIGGEST FAN!

Kristin playing on the bleachers before they fill up. Lauren is in the background. She is off to find her friends. She said she didn't have time to take a picture.(she only had 2 hours to play before her practice started). Sassy girl.

Spring

The weather here has been unbelievable. It is so warm and all the daffodils and forsythia are blooming. I love spring and I can't wait to landscape more. We are working on the driveway to our pastures this weekend.( I use this term loosely.) The dozer and excavator will be here. I will be watching and taking the kids to Ball. I snapped this picture of Anna as she was leaving for school this morning . Our schedules have been CRAZY lately with the girl's softball. Anna was practicing ball last night and the best player on our team(This girl is AMAZING). Anna was running to first base and this girl threw a crazy ball and all we heard was THUMP. It caught Anna right in the thigh. The coach ran to Anna, as well as the girl, and Anna just smiled. I know it hurt so bad but she did not want to miss any of the practice. Tough girl... I would have been limping off the field. Ha She made it to home base and came to the fence and said to me, Dad's right that girl can throw a ball.

Jeremy has been out of town and he brought me these flowers. So sweet of him.

And this shirt.....Um thanks. (He went to an equipment auction and the auction name is on the back of the shirt.) We had a great laugh. Maybe she should have gotten me an XS instead of an XL.

Our Softball schedule is really crazy now. The girls usually practice 2 hours a day except for wed and Sunday. Today we will be at the fields from 5-7 Anna and 7-9 Lauren. Tomorrow, Lauren is 9-11 and Anna is 3-5. Monday, we have dance 3:30-4:30, and softball Lauren 5-7 and Anna 7-9. AND did I mention our Garage is a wreck. So much to do and so little time. I'm just glad the girls are loving ball. It's so nice to sit at the ball fields in beautiful weather. Hopefully, I will post more often on the blog. That is, in my spare time. Ha

Hello North American!!!!

The movers came and delivered our things today. I was soooo happy to see these guys. When I looked in the trailer I started to get worried. How in the WORLD did we fill a WHOLE trailer. The door bell rang at 8:30 and I thought maybe a couple of hours and they would be out of here. Well after 6hours they were finishing up. See the little tiny Itsy Bitsy path in the center of the garage. This is our only path thru the garage. If you turn sideways you fit perfectly.

I think there is a mistake. We can't have THIS MUCH STUFF. Jeremy is in Orlando this week and will surprised when he sees his little boat in the driveway. ha
I'm unpacking boxes and listening to a ball game.Anna is playing basketball with the boys in the neighborhood. They have a goal on the side of our driveway and this is afternoon entertainment.

Lauren's school pictures.

Today is Lauren's spring school pictures and I took this picture before she left. She was sick Monday and Tuesday and today is her first day back at school. She is super excited to get back to her friends. I can't believe how big she is getting. We signed her up for softball and she informed us, " I will hit the ball but I am NOT running." Ha She is so sassy. I love it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines. We had ours on Sunday. Jeremy left for Orlando on Monday and will be there all week. Last year we went with him and went to Disney for a week. I can't believe it's been a year since we moved here. Crazy year at that. After a year, the movers will be delivering our things tomorrow. They have been in storage in Illinois for a year. I can't even remember what we had. Going into this move I wanted to only bring the essentials. We were moving into a rental house until we found our permanent house and I didn't want to move twice in a couple of months. Who knew it would take a year......

It's snowing again.....

It snowed again last night. School was delayed until 10 this morning and the kids were in their pajamas at 7 playing in the snow. I think they are not believing me now when I say Alabama doesn't get much snow. This is the 4Th time it has snowed this winter. They were beyond excited to have one more snowball fight.

Do you see the lines behind Mo? Those would be skid marks. He was running in the yard and hit the water meter and tumbled/slid. That would be 100 pounds of muscle(Ha) snowballing. It was pretty funny... glad he's OK.

This one's for Jeremy....he's in love with this girl.

Last weekend we sanded and painted the front door(it was 60 degrees). The sun had faded the paint a little and I wanted to paint the front lanterns too.
This is a before picture of the front door and lanterns.
This is in the snow. The lights show up so much better now and the finished front door ( I was itching to use spray paint.) Now they match the door. I'm painting the back doors this weekend it's suppose to be 65.

I also took a picture from the living room looking toward the front door. The catwalk upstairs leads to Anna's bedroom to the right and to the left is the media room, Kristin and Lauren's rooms.

This is a picture of the kitchen. The living room is to the left and the right is the patio.Another picture of the Kitchen.

We still have 10 pages of things in storage in Illinois. Hopefully the movers will be delivering it soon. Now, where to put it?
